Almond is very nutritious for all age people . Especially for kids .
Today we will make a healthy drink " Badama Khira ( Badam Milk / Almond Milk ) "

Let's start today's recipe
We need all these ingredients for making this dish
Milk - 1/2 ltr or 500 ml
Almond ( Badama / Badam ) - 15-16 nos ( Soak it at least for 2 hours or soak it over-night )
Sugar
Saffron ( Kesar ) ** Instead of it you can use green cardamom powder **
Let's simmer the milk on high flame
Now reduce the flame to low
And stir it occasionally for 5-7 minutes
Now remove the skin of the soaked Almonds ** Soak the almonds at least for 2 hours or soak it over-night **
Stir the milk at regular interval
Now blend it into fine paste by adding some water or warm milk in it
It's been 5 -7 minutes now
Now add the smooth almond paste in it
Then add Sugar according to your taste
Added 2 tbsp sugar
Put 10-12 threads of Saffron ( kesar ) in it ( instead of it you can use cardamom powder )
Occasionally scratch the sides and base of the vessel on low flame
It's been 10 minutes now
** The consistency should be like this ( like tea or Coffee consistency ) **
Now check the sweetness and add if required
** Again add the sugar after boiling the milk if required **
It is done now. Turn off the flame
Now cool it down completely
It is cool now and looks thick than before
Pour it in to a serving glass or Cup
Our quick and healthy " Badama Khira ( Badam Milk / Almond Milk ) " is ready to serve now
Serve it Chilled or Warm
It can also be stored in the refrigerator for 2 - 3 days
